Vice President of Security and Operations, NATA Compliance Services
As Vice President of Security and Operations for NATA Compliance Services (NATACS), Joe Dalton’s immense responsibilities include overseeing Aircraft Operator Security Coordinators’ and other Aviation Security Coordinators’ communications, training and operational support pertaining to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Programs and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) security initiatives. Joe states it is NATACS’ commitment to improve the lifestyle and the functionality of both crewmembers and operators within general aviation that attracted him to the company.
Before joining the NATACS team, Joe served as Director of Aviation Security at NetJets Aviation, and as a military police/corrections officer in the United States Marine Corps. In these roles, he had the opportunity to travel throughout the world, and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that he uses to benefit the general aviation operators he works with. Joe was recently reappointed to serve on the Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC).
Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University. He and his wife are the proud parents of two children and two dogs, and he can always be found at his children’s athletic activities, cheering them on. In his free time, Joe is an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, boating, camping and hiking.
