Specimen Shipping/Testing Delays
As a result of natural disasters (e.g. hurricanes, fires, etc.), specimens from impacted areas are being redirected to other laboratories. Consequently, delays are occurring in the receiving and testing of specimens.
MRO on Revised CCFs
It has come to the attention of NATACS that some of the revised Custody and Control Forms (CCFs) were not printed by the lab with the new Medical Review Officer's (MRO) name and contact information.
You can still use these forms (even if the MRO information is not updated on them). This does not affect the reporting of the result, nor does it require any kind of affidavit.
If you have not ordered the revised CCFs, please do so immediately. The revised CCFs were required for use as of Monday, August 30, 2021.
