Twelve-Five Standard Security Program Training Information

Aircraft operators with a TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program are required to provide certain training to their security-sensitive employees. Below is an overview of the training modules offered through our safety and security compliance platform.

TFSSP In-Flight Security Coordinator

This training module will help ensure the In-Flight Security Coordinator receives the training required of the TFSSP.

The In-Flight Security Coordinator (each Pilot in Command of TFSSP flights) and other crewmembers must complete this training before conducting TFSSP flights and then on an annual recurrent basis. The operator is required to maintain records confirming training completion. A record of successful completion is created and retained within the platform for each individual completing this training program.

This module contains Sensitive Security Information (SSI). SSI is regulated under 49 CFR Part 15 and 1520 and is only available to those with an operational need to know. The operator’s administrator confirms an individual’s eligibility by assigning the individual to this training module.

TFSSP Ground Security Coordinator

This training module will help ensure the Ground Security Coordinator receives the training required of the TFSSP.

The Ground Security Coordinator must complete this training before conducting TFSSP flights and then on an annual recurrent basis. The operator is required to maintain records confirming training completion. TFSSP All Employee Training

This training module is intended to familiarize all employees of a TFSSP aircraft operator with a basic overview of the TFSSP and special requirements of the program.

All flight department employees should complete this training before the aircraft operator conducts TFSSP flights and then on an annual recurrent basis. The operator should maintain records confirming training completion. A record of successful completion is created and retained within the platform for each individual completing this training program.

This training module does not contain Sensitive Security Information and is intended for all TFSSP aircraft operator employees, including reception staff, dispatch and flight following staff, charter sales staff and others. It is recommended these employees also complete the General Security Awareness Training module.
