Pilot Records Background Checks

PRIA ended on September 9, 2024, but you should still be requesting a DOT Drug & Alcohol History Check and National Driver Register Check

DOT Drug & Alcohol History Check

The PRD does not contain a pilot's full drug and alcohol history. Therefore, you are required under 49 CFR 40.25 to request these records from DOT-regulated employers the pilot worked for as a DOT-regulated employee during the past two years.

We will continue to provide this service. To download the new form, click the button below:

National Driver Register (NDR) Check

In addition to the records that you retrieve from the PRD, and the DOT drug and alcohol history check, you must also request a National Driver Register (NDR) Check on a pilot. Once you review these records, you are required to enter the reviewal date into the PRD.
