Electronic Scheduling Offers Significant Benefits to Drug Program Managers

Reno, NV, February 6, 2020 – NATA Compliance Services (NATACS) has launched a new electronic scheduling platform, offering electronic Custody and Control Forms (eCCFs), which provides several benefits to Drug Program Managers.

On Friday, January 3, 2020, NATA Compliance Services (NATACS) launched electronic Custody and Control Forms (eCCFs), which streamlines the drug testing process. Bailey Wong, Director of Customers and Communications at NATACS states: “We are very excited to offer this new electronic drug platform to our customers. We feel this will be a beneficial tool for them that will improve their overall efficiency in managing their drug programs.”

Through the new eDrug platform, Drug Program Managers can now perform the following tasks within minutes

  • Schedule tests online
  • Email or text the collection site’s information to the donor
Generate an ePassport, which provides relevant data to the collection site
  • Track the progress of the test

Throughout the development process, NATACS invited certain customers to test the new eDrug platform and provide feedback. Keystone Aviation was one of those clients. “While working with NATA Compliance Services during the development of the electronic drug platform, we have benefited from the processes and improvements the program was set up to deliver. Including quicker turn times on test results, expedited form distribution through electronic channels like email or text, and reduced testing delays. Overall, being a part of the electronic drug platform with NATACS saves Keystone Aviation time and provides greater support in satisfying federal regulations.”

Since its launch, other customers have expressed how simple it is to use the new eDrug platform. Scott Stack, Assistant Chief Pilot and Drug Program Manager at M & N Aviation, states: "Scheduling is an easy 2-minute process online, and the platform allows us to keep an eye on the progress of the test. The platform also generates clean, easy to read copies of the ePassport, chain of custody, and results for our record keeping requirements. The eCCF is a welcome step forward in helping us manage our drug and alcohol program."
